Our Little Tadpole...

...is swimming all by himself!!! It was the craziest thing. We went swimming this morning and he asked me to take off his life-jacket so I did thinking he would just play on the steps like usual, but instead he held on to the side of the pool and inched his way a few feet off the steps then let go and swam all the way back to the steps by himself. I couldn't believe it... where did this come from?? He just started private swim lessons with Mary Louise Gore, but he has only had one lesson with her so far. She must be a pretty amazing teacher!! I'm excited to see what he will be able to do by the end of summer.
