Strawberry Pie

Everyone loves this Strawberry Pie that I make each year for Dale's Birthday! The recipe has been passed down from Dale's grandmother (with a couple of modifications). It's super easy to make and I've had a couple of requests for the recipe so I thought I would share...

Strawberry Pie

1 C Sprite

1 C sugar

3 T. cornstarch

3 T. strawberry gelatin

3 C fresh sliced strawberries

1 Graham Cracker Crust Pie Shell

Combine first three ingredients and boil until clear and thick. Remove from heat and add gelatin. Put sliced strawberries in the bottom of the pie shell and pour gelatin mixture over strawberries. Refrigerate until set. Serve with whipped cream or cool whip.

Since we gobbled up our pie before I could get a picture, I had to find this photo online. This is much prettier than what my pie looks like when sliced, but it's the closest thing I could find. Enjoy! :)
