Movin' On Up

Literally!! Georgia went to the doctor today to get caught up on her shots (since mommy never got around to scheduling her 18 month check up.. oops!) and she is 28 lbs (average for her age) BUT for height she is 35.5" long which is 97% on the charts. Dr said that if she continues on this growth pattern she could be 5'8" when she is full-grown!

Georgia had another BIG MOVE UP last night. She spent her first night in her new "Big Girl Bed" and she did AMAZING!! I was nervous as to how she would handle it since she is still pretty young (she is only 22 months and we didn't move Tripp into a bed until he was 31 months) but she fell straight asleep and slept perfect through the night... and she did great going down for her nap today as well. We are VERY blessed to have such good sleeping babies!!

We are also blessed to have inherited a beautiful family heirloom that has now been passed down to a 5th generation. Georgia's "new" bed belonged to Dale's great-Grandmother. It was also Jane's bed when she was growing up and her mother's bed before that. I LOVE antiques... especially when they are passed down from family. So thank you, Nanie, for such a special family treasure!

"Thank you, Daddy, for putting my bedrails together!" I'm SO glad we got rails because the bed eneded up being a lot taller than we thought it would be.
